Approved Supplements, Waivers, OIs, etc to CAPR 60-1

Approved supplements, waivers, operating instructions, etc. to CAPR 60-1, 12 Dec 12:

Important Note: All supplements to previous versions of CAPR 60-1 must be updated and recertified, or approved by NHQ, within 6 months of CAPR 60-1's new issue date.  If there are no changes to the supplement, it may simply be updated and recertified, then sent directly to NHQ (in MS Word format) for posting.  If there are any changed, the supplement must be updated and sent through the approval process as outlined in CAPR 60-1.  Updated supplements to CAPR 60-1, dated 12 Dec 12, are due by 12 Jun 13.

Supplements to 60-1 cannot be issued below the wing level.  Wing supplements require coordination for approval in the following order: CAP wing commander, CAP region commander, CAP-USAF/LR, CAP-USAF/XO, NHQ/DOV and NHQ/DO approval.  Coordination will be accomplished via e-mail with a MS Word file attachment; NHQ will convert to PDF and publish after final approval.

Note:   In accordance with CAPR 5-4, para 2.3.a.(1): “Publications will not conflict with higher headquarters directives. Supplements may provide additional requirements or clarification to the parent regulation. Supplements  shall not be less restrictive than the parent regulation (CAPR 60-1).
