STK

NEW Important STK Update!

STK is a software tool that allows engineers and scientists to design and develop complex dynamic simulations of real-world problems, especially those relating to satellites, spacecraft, and aircraft. Through CAP's partnership with Analytical Graphics, the makers of STK, CAP members are invited to test-fly this state-of-the-art technology.  View the FREE STK training dates via the links at the end of this page!

STK is a fantastic aerospace activity for CAP Cadets, CAP Senior Members, and middle/high school AEMs and their students.

HOW TO OBTAIN AN STK SOFTWARE LICENSE
1.  Contact NHQ/AE and request a Satellite Tool Kit (STK) disk.
2.  Load the disk on the computer.
3.  After loading the software, a Host ID Number will appear. It is a 12 digit combination of lower case letters and numbers. Email those numbers.  Email the Host ID number to National Headquarters.  Each license is tied to one computer.  So, the STK disk can be used more than once.  Each time it is downloaded on to another computer, a differnt  Host ID number will appear; therefore, each Host ID number must be sent to NHQ AE for you to obtain a license for each computer used.
4.  NHQ AE will provide the Host ID number to Analytical Graphics Inc., who will register the license and provide licensing information for each user to download.  Once you have downloaded the information, you are ready to use STK.
